The Firm

Native speaker of Italian and French, attorney-at-law at the Parma bar and in the list of French-speaking attorneys of the Consulate General of France in Milan, Violette Sirello has gained specific skills in the fields of criminal, international and European law.

Following a highly selective binational course of study, she obtained a double degree in Italian and French Law at the University of Florence and the École de droit de la Sorbonne (Université Paris I – Panthéon Sorbonne), defending a master thesis in criminal procedure dealing with “The institution of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office”.

In exercising her work and in accordance with the deontological principles governing it, the VS Law Firm has always paid attention to the professional training and upgrading, in order to always ensure to its clients the best quality assistance.

In order to offer a 360 degrees assistance to her clients, the Firm may involve high-qualified external partners and consultants.

Working languages of the Firm : Italian, French and English.

Qualified to practice law since 2017, she started first a collaboration with an international Law Firm in Milan, where she gained experience in cross-border cases, legal assistance and counseling in transnational matters between Italy and France and defense in criminal proceedings. She also attended advanced courses in the field of European Criminal Law.

Since 2018 she is appointed as a research fellow in Supranational and European Criminal Procedure, as well as in Penitentiary Law, at the University of Milan-Bicocca (chair of Prof. Silvia Buzzelli).

She regularly collaborates with the Criminal Law Review Rassegna di Giustizia penale e Unione europea, published by the Rivista italiana di diritto e procedura penale, as well as with the Criminal Law Review Sistema Penale.

She is a member of the European Criminal Bar Association (ECBA), the European Fraud and Compliance Lawyer’s Association (EFCL) and the Camera penale di Parma.
